This week crime stoppers needs your help solving the theft of a Rescue Air Boat and trailer that occurred sometime between February 14th and February 19th, 2010.
     The airboat was stolen from 5175 Brooks Road, Gulf Coast RV Park.  The boat and trailer were parked next to the office on the South side in a small parking lot for utility type trailers.
     The airboat is a 2002 Air Ranger made by American Air Boats.  It is red with the words “Search and Rescue” in white reflective lettering on both sides.  The boat hull number is OH 9508 DF

This week Crime Stoppers needs your help solving an Identity Theft that began December 31st, 2009 when the victim’s credit card and driver’s license were stolen in Beaumont.  The suspect went to Five Point Credit Union in Bridge City and withdrew $2,000 from the victim’s account.  She also passed the credit card at several businesses in Beaumont.
The suspect is described as a white female, light brown to reddish hair pulled back into a ponytail.  She was wearing green scrubs and a long white jacket similar to what a doctor wears.

This week, Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at a local pharmacy.

On Monday December 28th, 2009 at around 2:30 PM 2 black males tried to rob the Peccio Pharmacy located at 3035 College.  One suspect described as heavy set, entered the store and sat in a chair next to the door while the other suspect described as tall and slender pretended to make a purchase.  When the owner opened the door to the help one of the suspects the other suspect tried to force his way in while displaying a handgun.  The pharmacist was able to fight the suspect off and both suspects fled the store on foot.                                                           
Suspect number 1 is described as a heavy set black male 5’10” to 5’11” tall 230-250 pounds wearing a blue or black jean jacket, white winter cap and blue jeans armed with a handgun.

Suspect number 2 is described as tall and thin black male 6’01” 150-170 pounds wearing a bright orange winter cap, light gray hooded jacket, light blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

On Saturday January 9th, 2010, at 1:05 PM Compass Bank at 2635 Interstate 10 East was robbed by 2 masked gunmen.   Two black males entered the bank displaying handguns demanding money.  The tellers complied and the suspects fled the bank on foot east toward 10th Street.  A dye pack was given to them in the money and may have exploded after they fled the scene.  Witnesses saw them get into waiting car, described as a gray newer model Honda with dark tinted windows.  The vehicle was last seen south on 10th Street from the service road.

This week, Crimestoppers needs your help in solving a 28 year old cold case hit-and-run fatality.

On January 6th, 1982, 5-year-old Kelly Baumgarte was playing in her front yard in the 1000 block of Iris. At about 4:46 p.m. a vehicle sped off, turning onto Iris from the 63 hundred block of Pansy. The vehicle traveled off the street and into the yard where the little girl was playing. 5-year-old Kelly was struck and killed. Witnesses stated that the car was possibly an early to mid 70’s brown Pontiac being driven by a white male who had dark hair and a beard.  Although there were many leads followed at that time, no one has been arrested for the death of little Kelly.
